Our Story: Five Individuals, One Mission - Transforming Agriculture from the Ground Up

Five individuals from different backgrounds - RC Carter, Travis Byerly, Scott Sentianin, Ryan White, and Drew Deckman - united around one mission: improving our food system.

What began as providing better quality meat evolved into something bigger when we discovered that soil health was the foundation of everything. If we could improve soil, we'd improve yields, nutrition, and reduce inputs dramatically.

We realized consumers wanted facts, not marketing promises. After five years of beta testing at Carter Ranch, we proved our model worked. Now we've created the highest standard of ranching certification - affordable, science-based, and focused on improving the most soil possible while helping ranchers increase their profits.

Carter Ranch is also working with researchers from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Biospheric Sciences Branch to measure how much rest rangeland needs before it can carry grazing again, using 41 years of satellite and aerial imagery checked against the ground.
